Like many people, after graduating from college I expected the red carpets to roll out and receive a flood of offers from companies looking for someone with my skillset. When that reality fell short of my expectations, I chose the path of self-employment. For 23 years I coached and consulted my clients to achieve the American Dream of home ownership. I managed a real estate office for one of my mentors and increased the production and profitability of that office by 56%, and opened my own real estate franchise that grew to be the single most successful office in the metro area. While leading these offices, I learned the joy that comes from helping others start their own businesses and successfully launch their careers. After doing just about everything one can do in real estate, broker manager, broker-owner, salesperson, property management, investment property owner, principal and general contractor on condo conversions and rehabs, commercial banking, and construction risk management I launched my Career 2.0 helping others explore career options and realize their American Dream of self-sufficiency.
